BIIAB Level 1 Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing (ARAR)

This qualification enables candidates to understand the main points of licensing law. Candidates will be able to recognise the responsibilities associated with the retail sale of alcohol and understand their duties concerning under-age sales and serving persons who are drunk.  This qualification is assessed by a 30 minute multiple-choice test.

HIGHFIELD Level 2 Award In Underage Sales Prevention (QCF)

This qualification is aimed at individuals working in a variety of roles relating to retail or in licensed premises.  To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake 5 hours of learning in a classroom. Topics include current legislation relating to the sale and purchase of age-restricted products and how to prevent unlawful sales of age-restricted products. This qualification is assessed by a 30 minute multiple-choice test.
